During the Great Hunt, many wizards and users of the arcane opted for death before betraying their brothers or unveiling any mystery about magic. Such was the loyalty that the Dark Wizard aroused.
Nonetheless, some among their ranks were fearful of torture and death. With lack of courage, they chose the path of treason, and collaborated in the Great Hunt against their brethen. The term "Illusionist" was one of ridicule among students of the arcane during the days of the Council, but during these dark years it acquired another meaning, a synonym for infamy and cowardice.
Now, one of them enters the rooms of the Dark Wizard, believing to enter voluntarily ... although the shadow of slavery hangs over his mind in ways that even she does not realize.
