Hex-Floating-Shelf

English:I wanted to design my own hex shelf because I didn't like other people's mounting solutions. Here is the result. Floating hexagons as a shelf. The hexagons have an inner height of 16cm and a frame of 2cm. The attachment is intended for srews of 4.5mm with countersunk head. The print profile is designed accordingly for a beautiful front look with a Hilbert curve. This in combination with a PEO or Textured-Pei gives the shelf a very nice finish. The mount has different settings because it is not visible and is loaded differently by the screw. There is also a jig to combine several shelves in a honeycomb pattern. More pictures will follow. So far there are only proof-of-concept prints. The original ones still take a while, but are in the works.
