I treated myself to a small PTC heating block along with a temperature control module from A... (they are also offered together). The goal was to assemble the part as compactly as possible, so it could easily be placed in the enclosed build space of a 3D printer when needed.

A word of caution: It's actually outrageous to sell something like this. No description, no labeling, no GS/TÜV or other certification marks. If you have no experience with handling mains voltage - definitely stay away! Even for those who do have experience, I didn't use any protection or grounding. For me, it is double insulated.

Ok. The heating block with the fan can be used as is and is secured with just a screw and a bracket (you can also use a strain relief). I used 3 melt inserts (M3x4x5) for the screw and the strain relief of the power cord (2-pin).
