Hydro-Ring

A product to encourage and enable people living in towns or cities to grow their own vegetables at home, while suiting the urban lifestyle and daily routine and promoting sustainability. The tank is designed to hold up 25 liters of water, enough for 6 medium size plants. Inside the tank, a common water pump provides to the necessary circulation of the water, while providing oxygenation for the plants. Pipes (external on the “Ring” and internal on the “Base”) are essential for the circulation. One pipe is situated in a lower position to provide water in the pots, while a second one is placed higher on the pot for the water to flow out of it and go back to the tank. On the top of the tank, there is small hatch that can be opened by the user, if more water needs to be added. Six pots for plants have been placed around the “Ring”. Plants are placed inside the black net pots, together with Rockwool or Perlite as soil. The pots get filled with water that goes in form the lower hole of the pot and goes out from the higher one. It is made mostly out of Polyethylene.
