I am looking into making a path to connect the reel core to the filament area, as this solution might separate the actual filament volume from the reel center. Might make more sense to put the silica and the meter in the actual filament area, leave a bit of air to circulate, allow the silica to hold to humidity, but for now, these work well enough.
