Makes
CoreXY HyperCube daClone
Intrigued by HyperCube build log, I decided to make one. Turns out it is not that easy...
I was stuck at finding parts for 2020 system as well as for Ø12 carbon fiber tube. So why the heck I don't design my own parts for it.
This is designed with lowest possible cost and, maybe, with scrap material I have at work but still keep it as strong as possible.
This Clone uses
- 2020 alu system for frame
- 2020 alu corners + plastic corners
- Ø8 steel rods + LM8LUU Linear Bearing for Y-Z axis
- Ø12 carbon fiber tube + Drylin RJM-01-12 Bearing for X axis
- SK8 Linear Rail Support (replaced with printed parts)
- T8 lead screws for Z axis
- Teeth pulleys and smooth pulleys
- E3D-V6 hotend + bowden MK8 extruder
- 2 motors for Z-axis (will change it into only one motor after)
- 3 motors for X-Y and E0
- 5m of 2GT timing belt + round loop 2GT to tie 2 T8 lead screws together
- Alu angles for support the heat bed (changing to 2020 extrusion bed suppo
