The famous infinity cube fidget in wireframe! I wanted to recreate the infinity cube with as much empty space inside as possible, while still maintaining enough strength and print-ability. The cubes can be printed individually and in different colors if wanted. They are connected with s-shaped hinges. The cubes are 20mm in size and in total it only weighs 18 grams.Inspired by the model with s-shaped hinges from https://www.printables.com/@schuetzi99Print instructions- Print 4 normal cubes, 4 mirrored cubes and 8 hinges.- Use normal print settings with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height and 2 walls. No supports needed, unless your printer can't handle a short bridge.- If you want a cross colored version print 4 normal cubes of one color and the mirrored ones another.- If you want a colored in line version print 2 normal and 2 mirrored cubes in one color and 2 normal and 2 mirrored cubes in another color. Other combinations are of course possible.- If you want to have a similar appearance for all sides of the cube, print on a smooth plate and use topmost surface ironing.- I suggest you print the hinges in PETG for more endurance.- There are two variants of the hinge, tight and loose. I printed all mine with the tight variant which you should try first, but if you can't press those in or want a more loose fidget try the loose variant.AssemblyYou may need some small pliers or screwdriver to push the hinges into place.Arrange the cubes as shown below and insert all the hinges. In this image the red cubes are the normal ones, and the green are the mirrored cubes.
