Inflatable pool drain assistant

We have one of those 10x6 inflatable pools. There is a drain plug in the bottom of the pool but it suffers from two issues...

+ The weight of the water in the pool pushes the drain hole close to the ground, and severely limits flow.

+ The outflow of the water pulls the drain plug flap onto the drain hole, Also limiting flow.

This design has an upper and lower piece.

The lower piece will hold the bottom of the pool up enough to allow the water to drain out the holes in the sides. You will put it under the pool (only when ready to drain) and insert up through the open drain hole.

The upper piece screws into the lower piece. It has a wide skirt that will hold the drain plug flap down.

I need to test to ensure the design can support the weight of the pool water, as well as ensuring the design allows for sufficient drain flow. I have anticipated at least 1 or 2 issues that may come up and necessitate design adjustments.
