I wanted to create a press for inserts that didn’t require buying any extra materials. That’s how the idea for this fully printable and fairly fast press came about. We obviously recommend using PETG filament, although PLA works fine too. Assembling it is quite simple; it consists of just a few parts that don’t require screws or other fasteners. Later on, I’ll try to improve the design by adding a return spring, but this is completely optional—just in case. The pin that secures the gear with the crank It is advisable to use a small amount of cyanoacrylate to secure it Although, since it is wedge-shaped, it is possible to remove it from the opposite side, as I intend to expand the project to use it with a Dremel, thereby changing the tool's support body It is suitable for welders with a diameter between 12 and 26 mm. I will soon be making a modification for welders with larger diameters.
