internal drum trigger mounting bracket

Very simple mounting bracket for internal drum trigger. You can mount it to your lugs on the inside.

Put a layer of neoprene on the trigger, add a washer the size of your piezo element and put your piezo on top of the washer. Make a connection between the drum head and your piezo with foam. Try different types of foam and different pressure on the head for best trigger results. I put everything together with two sided tape, holds for years.

assembly is as follows:
*attach a layer of foam (mousemat or something else) with two sided tape to the mounting bracket (for insulation form rim hits).

*attach the baseplate with two sided tape on top of the foam layer (in order to have a firm surface for the piezo element).

*attach your piezo on the baseplate with two sided tape. You can put a washer the size of your piezo in between or you can try without washer. You can use different materials for the washer and look for the dynamic response you like). I use a piezo with a black pla
