This is a stand for the iPhone 5 that allows you to take a hands free panoramic picture which allows you to be in your own photo! Simply place the iPhone into the stand, set up the shot, wind up the base and place on a surface. The smooth motion pans the iPhone through the panoramic photo. The 180 degree swing means that the iPhone camera is facing 90 degrees away from the center of the photo when the panoramic photo begins, due to the hands free unwinding motion, this gives you time to jump into the shot.
