Jack Plug Saver / Support

Headphones jack plugs do not seem to last long for me. The bend in the cable at the plug damages the wires. To extend the life of the plug I have created this “saver” to support the cable when damage starts to show. When printed in TPU the device is slightly more flexible than the OEM flexy part and seems to reduce the rate of damage.

NOTE: when designing I had to make the design 1.5 nozzle lengths wider for the jack plug to fit in.
