Jet engine

A jet engine is a type of propulsion system that generates thrust by expelling a high-speed jet of exhaust gases. It operates on the principle of Newton's third law of motion, where the action of ejecting gas at high speed produces a reaction that propels the aircraft forward. Jet engines are commonly used in aircraft and consist of several key components: an intake to bring in air, a compressor to pressurize the air, a combustion chamber where fuel is burned, turbines that extract energy from the exhaust gases, and a nozzle that accelerates the exhaust to create thrust.
