Jet Engine

A jet engine is a type of engine that generates thrust by expelling a high-speed jet of gas. It operates on the principle of Newton's third law of motion: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The engine draws in air, compresses it, mixes it with fuel, and ignites the mixture. The resulting high-pressure, high-temperature exhaust gases are expelled through a nozzle at the rear of the engine, producing thrust that propels the aircraft forward. Jet engines are commonly used in commercial and military aircraft due to their efficiency and ability to operate at high speeds.
