kamon-Kikyo

I have modeled a "kamon," a traditional Japanese family crest, using only a compass. This represents a form of traditional geometric art in Japan.The bottom side depicts the “kamon”, while the top side resembles the path traced by the compass during the drawing process.This particular family crest represents the bellflower (kikyō), and it is the famous crest of the renowned shogun, Akechi Mitsuhide.コンパスのみで作画出来る”家紋”をモデリングしました。 これは日本の伝統的な幾何学アートです。 底面側は”家紋”を象っており、上面は作画時のコンパスの軌跡を象ったものです。 この家紋は桔梗を象ったものであり、非常に有名な将軍である明智光秀の家紋です。
