Klein Fläche

The Klein Fläche, better known as the Klein bottle, is a weird mathematical hick-up taht exists out of two Mobius surfaces. Be it less famous than Mobius' monster, I think its is way cooler. If you look on the internet, you can find one made of glass - hand blown. What is its practical use, besides looking weird? Well, you might fill it up with something sweet, and suspend it hole-down in the garden. Would do just fine as an artistic fly-catcher! As with the Mobius surface I did: Rhino was unable and unwilling to join it into one single surface. As with the Mobius surface, the surface direction gets flipped and where the surafec needs to attach to itself, its direction is opposite of itself. To illustrate this gibberish, I provided a screenshot. NOTE: I left the 'hole' closed by the 'intersecting' piece of surface, so it would behave as it should, mathematically. The attachment problem is at the blend on the rim of the hole. Also, if you try to remove that blocking piece of surface, you will find yourself having a hard time doing so, without reconstructing the entire 'bottle'. Thanks to the sharp eye of Josh Mings, I felt tempted to create a smoother one. It is the second version, without wrinkling in the curve. Enjoy!
