These lab table metal rod sockets constantly go missing in my classroom, so I decided to design a 3d printable version. I doubt they'll withstand enormous forces/torques compared to the original metal parts, but I've yet to have one break in my physics classes (and I've attached some decently heavy equipment to the rods). I print with 6 wall loops and 25% infill to give the socket additional strength. The socket needs to be printed with supports enabled. I also designed a handy wrench to help tighten the nuts underneath the table. This wrench also works for the original metal nuts.
