This is a filament guide designed to slot through the top of an Ikea Lack table top, with PC4-M6 push-release connectors top and bottom.
I wanted to run PTFE tubing from the filament spool all the way to the printer but be able to disconnect each end without too much trouble. This guide has an M6 thread on both ends so that the connector screws in tightly, which also holds the guide securely when slotted through an 8mm hole.
The tube is flared on the inside so that filament can be inserted easily.

The thread dimensions are parameters so it shouldn't be too difficult to change this for a different fitting, or for 3mm filament.
