Large Base - XWing compatible

This is customized large base for use with XWing and other games.

To attach the post to the base and to the ship you require 4x 10mm rare earth magnets -I use ones that are 3mm thick. I also use green stuff epoxy putty hardened with super glue to attach a 10mm magnet to the base of my large ships (touched up with simple black paint).

The 6mm and 3mm rare earth magnet holes were added for a couple reasons. First, by putting magnets in the bottom you can quickly magnetize the base. And second, by putting magnets in the top I was able to experiment with other systems. The large magnets were added to allow this base to serve as a 28mm squad base for crossfire. The small magnets were added to give this base dials for speed and elevation for a WW2 dog fight idea I was playing around with.
