LARGE BULLET CASE.IF YOU COLLECT THING, PLEASE LIKE!I designed this oversize bullet case for a friend, he likes drinking and shooting. The bullet was built to hold a wild turkey 700ml bottle. it can fit any bottle similar in size (see Photo) even wine bottles.I separated the threads from the model so they can be printed by themselves and not as a part of the larger model (in case things don't work out!)I used epoxy glue to adhere the pieces together. I also inserted pins in the body to align the tapered bit to the body (see photo).I then primed and spray painted the parts to make it resemble a bullet. It does not matter what colour you print in; the primer and paint will hide it.If the threads are tight, A bit of filing/sanding is recommended.I had to do a bit of filing/sanding to the tip thread/taper thread to get it to go in smoothly.Print SettingsPrinter brand:CrealityPrinter:Ender-3 v2Rafts:NoSupports:YesResolution:0.2Infill:18%Filament brand:PantechFilament colour:n/aFilament material:PLANotes:Supports around threads...Post-PrintingExtrasGlue.Gorilla glue (See Photo)Paint:white knight squirts under coat(white), Dulux Metal shield hammered finish (Silver and Gold) ( See Photo)How I Designed Thishow it was designed.Using Fusion 360,created sketch, then using extrude and loft i created a part to resemble a bullet.Bullet would not fit on my print bed so i had to cut the body at the bottom of the taper and create pin holes for alignment when sticking the parts together.I then used thread and coil to create the threads to attach the bullet together.
