Case for laser module and 2-axis quarton mount, with buck converter. Used during holiday light display to turn off street light across from my house.
BOM:
* About 200 grams of PETG filament
* 3D printer with 0.4 or 0.6 nozzle (0.6 may require more cleanup)
* 4x M3x12mm screw (for Quarton mount)
* 4x M3x4mm screw (for buck converter)
* M3 thread tap and 2.5mm (or 3/32") drill bit
* LM2596 buck converter, search amazon ID: B00Q48BRFO
* Quarton QLM-1165
* "Dot" style 5mw laser module with adjustable focus (I used red) 12.5-16.5mm diameter
* Pigtail of your choice - I use xConnect 3 core for all my props
Shell needs supports for the window. Base needs to be rigid. Flex will make aiming difficult, and the shell can warp the base slightly when attached.
