Laser Pointer button protector & rotary switch

This is a button protector sleeve for a 19.55mm diameter laser pointer.

it has two grooves within the sleeve, one that ramps up pressure on the button to hold the button in the On position, and another, deeper groove that rotates all the way around and protects the button from being pressed, and rotates all the way around to keep the sleeve from sliding.

The hex profile is nice in that it balances my $10 USB rechargeable laser pointer level, and keeps it from rolling.


The SCAD file is OpenSCAD customizable, but since it relies on the Round-Anything Library to make the rounded hex body, it does not work in the Thingiverse customizer. If you need a different diameter sleeve, try OpenSCAD, or ask me to run a different diameter model for you.
