Laser scale

In a designer’s tool box there are many different types of tools but the most important and the most basic is the ruler. Without some type of measuring scale a designer has no ideal what size their design is. Our focus on this project will be designing a tool to help with laser engraving with laser software and a laser engraver. The laser engraver only runs in metric so the program that we design in needs to be metric also. In designing things for the laser engraver it is hard to know how big or small a design will be unless you know the metric system. Well with this metric scale you can visually see about what size the design is before you send it to the machine. The scale is divided into 50 millimeters increments and is scaled in two axis.
