Led Gantry Light Diffuser

This is a simple light diffuser for led lights I installed at the top of my gantry. The sides are 1mm and the inner part is shallower to allow it to slide over the led light strip. It's a tight fit but is nice and snug once it's in there. Each piece is 160mm long. Print 2 pieces to cover the whole top of the gantry in between the uprights. Slide one in from each side. I recommend fully removing the top gantry piece to make installing easier. The led's I got are from Printermods.com The lights work great but I had to re-solder the joints between the two strips that make up their kit to feel good about installing them. I also put heatshrink over the connection between the two strips and covered the back and sides of the strip with electrical tape. All that probably made it harder to slide the diffuser in there but I feel better about it all electrically.
