Make your home the life of the party with this light up shelf!
I used ws2812b LEDs but any strip should do. They are soldered together with some wires at each end, forming 1 continuous strip. There is a hole for the wires to exit in the piece LED_shelf_edge_wire.stl. They should be powered by an adequate power supply and data can be transmitted via an Arduino. I used the FastLED library and programmed some cool patterns. Let me know if you would like my code.
The shelf is a 36 inch shelf off Amazon, but I think when I measured it it was 35.5 inches.
It looks better in person, pics don't do it justice.
