Leopard 2 A5

History: The face of NATO's ground forces, the Leopard 2 was the result of a failed US-German collaboration to produce an entirely new main battle tank. Based off Germany's own tank doctrine, but not too far off its US counterpart either, the Leopard 2 was widely praised for its speed and mobility balanced with excellent fuel efficiency. Additionally, its state-of-the-art firing systems allows it to operate in harsh weather conditions and fire on the move. One such famous Leopard 2 would be the A5 variant which began use of the sloped, frontal spaced-armor feature.

Notes: 1/100 scale model is a remix of m_bergman's. Now includes updates (i.e. amended track treads, complete engine deck, full crew equipment, slightly reworked hull, edited turret roof details, turret roof machine gun, antennas, etc.) for aesthetic and historical accuracy. Leopard 2 A5 saw peace-keeping operations in Kosovo, 2000. Turret and machine gun should fit nicely. If otherwise, please let us know. Panzer Vor!
