Leveling device for Ducato

I wanted a level for my Ducato250 campervan. Up to now I use a two axis part which lies in the back at the kitchen table. But it is difficult to see from the driver seat. I didn't find a fitting surface near the driver. They were either inclined or too flexible. And I need to adjust the part.

There is a small ledge between the steering wheel and the gearshift. So I formed the down part exactly for that ledge. The upper part is mounted on a ball swivel. The other two mounting points are M3 bolts sitting in nuts (5mm long). With these two bolts the setting is adjusted.

There is not much room for mounting the lower part. One bolt is inserted in a 45° angle, because otherwise I couldn't get any tool to the opening.

The black part is the final design. The white part is a former version which better shows the parts and the construction. There were only details changed later.
