I bought an LED light to replace one that burned out in my entertainment center. It was much brighter than the two others so instead of returning it I made a deflector to shine the light on the wall instead.

The diameter of the light housing was 80.6mm so I made this 82mm and it is still a tight fit.
I glued the two pieces together with PVC cement before placing the completed deflector into the vapor chamber.

To get a nice shiny finish I put it in a cold vapor bath for 2 hours. I made the vapor bath chamber from a 1 new gallon paint can by drilling holes in the lid recess where I can pour the Acetone and it will drip onto sheets of paper towels to soak up the liquid.

In a room temperature environment, it takes 2 hours to produce a finished look.

I also used a cheap mirror from the dollar store and cut away the plastic so it would fit inside the chamber. I attached copper wire to mirror so it can be lifted out of the can without touching the object being processed.
