Light Up LED Acrylic Base

This is a base I made for a light up LED acrylic. Inspiration for the base was from RCLifeOn's "RCLifeOn 3D Printer to Engraver". Unfortunately, he did not post dimensions on his files so I had to recreate just by looking at his model images.
The base surface is 14in wide by 4in deep. The height of the top and bottom pieces are 1.5in each and the middle is 1in, totaling 4in tall. This is is made for a piece of 1/8in acrylic or glass measuring 12in x 12in. I have included the Solidworks files as well. Feel free to remix or perfect.
The acrylic slides completely through the top piece and into the middle piece to sit directly on the LED strip. The wiring for the LED strip light is fitted through the cut-out towards the right of the middle piece channel. The bottom cut-out area is made for a standard light adapter you can find on amazon so the IR receiver can be placed into the front cut-out and the female port for the power supply can be on the right side side. i wanted a
