Linseed Separating Machine – Design & Development

Designed and developed a linseed separating machine to automate the post-harvest process of separating flax seeds from stems, replacing traditional manual and tractor-based methods that caused material damage and inconsistent output quality. #Engineering & Development -Created full 3D CAD models using SolidWorks -Applied Machine Design and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles -Performed multiple design iterations to improve performance and portability -Conducted FEA (structural analysis) to validate frame strength and roller loading conditions -Developed complete manufacturing documentation, including fabrication drawings and DXF files for laser cutting #Prototyping & Manufacturing -Redesigned the machine into a mobile unit with wheels for field operation -Added provisions for generator mounting to enable on-site processing -Manufactured and assembled the final prototype -Performed real-world testing and post-manufacturing improvements . . . tires are from a trailer post on GrabCad https://grabcad.com/library/trailer-r250-wood-toy-1-6-1 also the worker https://grabcad.com/library/worker-man-human-1 all bearing are from SKF website / chain Parts and motors are fron Mcmaster-carr
