Long lamp socket

I needed a way to tighten the 1/2 inch nut on a lamp. I made a simple socket that I CA's to a piece of 1/2 inch schedule 40 pvc. I then used my table saw to split the tube and socket open to accept the lamp wire. Worked perfect.

You might not need this but it may give you and idea that might help you on one of your own projects.
