After making my last filament guide I was unhappy with how the filament was still going through the extruder. As such I took another filament guide I had tried much earlier in my printing experience and decided to give that one an upgrade also. It now helps line the filament up to the extruder hole so as to prevent even more rubbing and friction that was causing drag and just making an plan old powdery mess at that location. Unlike the original one, there is no longer any squeaking from the part due to it no longer rubbing anywhere on it. This part should also help prevent the original plastic parts from wearing down and can save you a few bucks on the metal upgrade kit.
I have also designed a bolt to go with it, if you just desire to have it all printed, but this can easily be replaced with a metal bolt, and either tapping out threads into the PLA or attaching a nut to the end, just recall not to over tighten as the wheel/bearing still needs to move.
Only point of possible failu
