LS Cam Bearing Tool

I made these parts to help a friend change his cam bearings on his GM gen 3 4.8L LS Vortec engine. Also tested with my 5.3 L33.

This tool SHOULD work with both gen III and gen IV LS engines. I cross referenced FSM for blocks in both generations.

There's 2 versions attached that can be used with either a 1" pipe or the jack handle of a Harbor Freight floor jack (had to throw a little sloppy in there!).

My printer doesn't like overhangs so I had to use supports. You can easily pry that portion out of the middle with the Ender3 included wrench. I have another version domed on the inside that I may upload later but it won't be as strong.

Use the "end" piece to remove and install the cam bearing itself. The "guide" piece slides onto the 1" pipe or HF jack handle. Pretty self explanatory.
