You can use these through a hat or a better option is to glue to base to a headband. Some people also wrap the headband with ribben over the base to make it look nicer. It uses 8mmx3mm magnets. The one I purchased were actually only 2.7mm thick so that holes are shallower than 3mm. I used CA glue to glue the magnets in. I used these ones: https://a.co/d/06Sm8CE5 The magnets hold well. The ear may detatch from the base if tipped too far (like if wearing a loose hat and the ears flop forward). Just keep this in mind. It requres 10 magnets per ear/base combo **** EDIT ****I added step and f3d files for the models along with blank and empty version of the ears
