Stimulating.On my quest to re-vision the limits of science fair projects, I was reminded of my youth science fair where I was so captivated by the magic of magnetic levitation. My science fair project was something so basic and insignificant. I do not even remember what mine was, but one of my classmates made this little wooden train levitate using magnetic strips. It was so mesmerizing to watch the car get pushed back and forth across the short, straight track with absolutely no effort and no contact to the track. Fast forward a couple of years to a secondary school science fair I was invited to at JPL, and I encountered yet another magnetic track type of project. This one was a little more complex, showing off its ability to guide a car through a 90-degree drop-off and then back to parallel with the ground after falling for a meter. Science fairs are an amazing place, and it is not
