Makerbot Knob Upgrade

Leveling the bed of your vintage Makerbot printer will be so much easier with a set of these "press fit" upgrades installed over the original knobs. They make turning really easy and give you much more precise control. Print the knobs facing down (see photo) with support inside the holes. The support parts can be used with a pair of pliers or vice grips to press the original knob all the way in. Printing PLA at 20% infill will be plenty strong. Later, if you like the upgrade, you can make it more permanent by dripping in one tiny drop of Crazy Glue.
