This model is an assembly tool/aid for the MakerChip magnet by もつもつI found that the small ‘wings’ would snap off too easily during assembly. This simple tool acts to constrain the maximum flex of the wings so that it becomes much harder to break during insertion of your MakerChip.UsageDrop your printed magnet holder into the ring, wings facing up.Insert your makerchip, starting at an angle. You may need to hold the ring stead on the underside as it can spin freely, and you may need to help ‘stretch’ the printed part slightly to flex it enough to insert. Do not try to force it in flat/vertically.
