Grave Grave Saur (Ukrainian: Savur-grave) is a burial mound in the Gorlovka district, Donetsk region, Ukraine[1]. One of the heights of the Donetsk ridge (277.9 m). At the top of the mound there was a Cossack guard post[2], fortifications of the Mius front. After the Great Patriotic War, a memorial complex was created at Saur-Grave. Kurgan is part of the Donetsk Ridge Regional Landscape Park. During the fighting in August 2014 during the war in Donbass, the memorial complex was destroyed by constant shelling. After that, its territory came under the control of the self-proclaimed DPR. In 2022, the memorial complex was restored and expanded by the Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO). and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the opening took place on September 8, 2022.
