This is a little stand to adapt a cheap USB 2.0 camera as a microscope for visualizing small objects. I also use the mirrored version of the camera bracket part as a way of attaching the camera to the 20x20 aluminium extrusion of the tarantula to observe extrusion and bed clearance etc.
The camera costs less than AUD10.00 with free delivery from China, and has a ring to adjust focus to as close as around 50mm for this usage. It's support clip is discarded and the ball and socket attachment of the bracket replaces that....
