Mini Cooper R56 Shift Knob adapter

This is an adapter I made for the Mini R56 Shifter.

I purchased the "QIANG KUN Universal Shift Knob 6 Speed Manual Gearbox Shift Knobs Fit for Most Car Transport Vehicles (Round Head R Up)" Shift knob from Amazon but the adapters it had did not fit the Mini R56 shifter stick properly and got loose after a few days of use. This adapter has a snug fit on both the shifter stick and the shift knob.

Mini R56 Shifter stick is 14mm in diameter
Shifter Knob has a 16mm hole

Note: Once you insert the adapter into the knob, you might need to mark and drill holes in the places were the bolts will be inserted. In my case, I used a soldering iron to make the holes.
