This is a very simple case that you can mount an SSD1309 OLED display and a microcontroller such as the Pico or possibly a full Pi zero W inside.
Mounting the display as well as the base pedestal is accomplished with hot glue in this prototype version. The back shell press fits into the front shell.
A USB or power wire port is on the side. Soon I will produce a nicer hardware-assembly version.
Also included is an obscure adapter when allows you to place a film SLR lens (a yashica 55mm I think) in front of the display, turning it into a projector. fun in subdued lighting.
I am curious what other styles of console I could design for this hardware. For instance, I would love a mini Xerox Alto system, with a vertically mounted OLED, or to hide the display behind circular ports and possibly round lenses to mimic the look of radar tubes for early PDP-10 machines like the ones that ran 'SPACEWAR!'.
I will soon have example programs for you to upload and a wiring diagram, which is a sim
