Moai Sliced & Solid: 3D Printing Visualization

This model was created for the National Materials Engineering Day 3D printing workshop to serve as a visual aid of how slicing software interprets geometry. I used the High Quality Mesh Moai model by chrish_92, Slicer for Autodesk 360, Mesh Mixer and Blender to achieve this half-and-half look. Due to overhangs, mainly caused by the slices stepping, this model requires supports. Printed in Bambu Lab marble filament.
