Some Thingiverse users have had trouble downloading .scad files directly-- if you get empty files, try downloading all files as a zip, then open it and pull out the .scad file.

This is a part I designed for my son's home-designed model plane, but which he did not use. Nonetheless, I think it demonstrates some interesting techniques in OpenSCAD, so I thought I'd upload it anyway. And hey, maybe you'll find it more useful than he did.

Basically, the motor is screwed into the mount, and the mount is affixed to the front of the plane. It leaves a little gap around the edge for the motor to spin, and has space for the screws, wires, etc.

It's designed for a RaceStar BR2205 brushless motor, but there are variables you can set to match it to almost any small motor.

v2: Updated for Customizer
v3: Changed buggy screwplate with sinkhole design
