This little nut enables you to vary the weight of a BT-80 nose cone. You might want this to adjust stability, or to limit altitude when launching from a smaller field.
To make this modification, first use a drill with a 1/2 inch drill bit to enlarge the hole at the bottom of the nose cone. After that screw in the nut all the way (it is a tight fit but some glue on the outer threads is still a good idea). Once it is in, you can screw an M8 bolt into the inner threaded hole of the nut. That can be the weight, or you can add washers for additional weight.
Do not exceed the maximum liftoff weight for the engine you are using.
Print this with a 0.12 layer height, and no supports.
