Model Rocket Fin Align Tool (Universal)

This is a universal fin alignment and attaching tool for model rockets. It will work with rockets with 3 or 4 fins, of any size.

How to use it:

1) Print everything out, select the Rocket Holder based on the size of the engine your rocket uses. Print 3 or 4 fin holders.

2) Put the Rocket Holder into your rocket's engine compartment and slide the rocket and holder onto the Guide.

3) Do a dry run: Put your fins into the fin holders. Unlike in my picture, it's best to have the fin holders only holding the far edge of the fins, that will make it easier to remove. Snap the fin holders onto the guide and then slide them up so the fin touches the rocket. Make sure each fin is aligned vertically.

4) Take the fin holders off of the Guide and apply glue. Snap them back onto the guide and slide them up so that they are firmly contacting the rocket. Wait until the glue dries.

5) Using your finger, pry each fin holder open and then rotate it off of your fins.
