I needed a stand that would hold my monitor up instead of having to put something behind it, or on its stock stand. I designed this because i need the stand to fit perfectly in the space under a compartment and my desk, and having it on its stock stand would make it to tall.

this stand works for monitors with a height of 10 1/4" - 13 1/4" with the bolt pattern of x100.

You could use the the stud and nut that i designed or you could use a 5mm bolt diameter and nut that you can find at a hardware store.
You may also need rubber or foam with sticky backing for the leg so it wouldn't slip when standing.
