**NOTE** The actual STL is in moon-light-210v2.gcode.zip as it is entierly too big to upload uncompressed. moon-light-210-test.mix.stl is simply a slice I took from it to test my printer setting and light transmission before committing to the entire print.

Yes splitting the model along the hemisphere is probably a wise approach as most support could be eliminated as well as reducing the print time. However, I really wanted to do a seamless print and torture test my printer(CR-10 V2). In full disclosure, I did have to slow the print down significantly where the shell rejoined the support at the top to ensure the layers. landed so as not to fail the print.

Used displacement map from [NASA CGI Moon Kit](https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/details.cgi?aid=4720). Brought it into Blender and used a displacement modifier to create the surface. The inner shell was done with
