These are two different mounts for a circular mini PIR motion sensor (~33mm diameter). This allows the sensor to be angled downward so that it is too high up to be noticeable, but can still detect the whole room. There is a shallow circular indent to center the sensor on the correct face, and the corners are chamfered to allow it to fit over any little bumps or inconsistencies in the paint on the walls along the edges. The first plate is for mounting in the corner of a room up against the ceiling. The second plate is for mounting to the edge between a wall and the ceiling.
