MULTI-ANGLE RULER KITThis model is for a multi-angle ruler kit. Multi-angle rulers are often used to obtain or reproduce dimensions. They are indispensable when you need to translate and reproduce location and shape. The kit comprises:Metric (15 cm) and Imperial (6 inch) rulers;Thumb screws for M5-20 bolts and M5 nuts to join the rulers - to snuggly attach and keep the rulers attached;Angle guides - to ensure precise angular alignment;Endpieces for marking or taking measures;Endpiece that can be used as a compass.USAGE NOTESAssemble the rulers with the thumbscrews. The thumbscrews use M5 nuts and bolts to allow reliable fastening of the rulers and to maintain position. 3d printing the screws would make this difficult. The metric ruler is 30mm wide. The groove is offset 15mm from each end. When measuring from the end add 1.5 cm to the measurement. The imperial ruler is 1 inch wide. The groove is offset by 1/2 inch. When measuring from the end add 1/2 inch to the measurement.A set of metric and imperial angle guides are provided for common angles (22.5, 30, 45 and 90) The angle guides are used to reliable obtain an angular measurement and can be used both above and below the ruler. Alternatively you can print a mirror set for 22.5 and 30 to give you 60 and 67.5 degrees. Two types of end points are provided, a circular and a square one. The circular end point features a hole to use a pencil as a compass.3D printingThe model requires little to no support when printing and a print profile is included.Plates are provided for metric, imperial and common elements. You only need to print the ones you want.My designsI enjoy creating 3d models that others can use and appreciate. It is a very fun pastime. I find it very rewarding to see my models downloaded and printed. I put lots of thought, time and effort to create each model print out multiple iterations to make sure it works just right. Thank you.
