For an exhibition I need a column that hides a monitor to show an endless loop of a video.
The idea was to create a system that is mutable. Here in the pictures you see a three-cornered column. But you could build a square one with the parts too - or just a zigzag wall.
All you need are the printed hinge-joints, some aluminium tubes (20/1 mm), panels and screws (3mm - the length depending on the thickness of you panels).
And there are connectors if you want to stack the panels, as well as plugs to close the tubes or to use as feet.
My panels are 60 x 100 cm so I took 6 pieces of 1 m aluminium pipe. As I wanted to add the monitor, I designed one side as a door to have access to the technik - simple printed hinges did the job.
Print all with 3 shells and at least 65% Infill. Use ABS.
The assemble.stl is to view only - as an example.
I added the FreeCad-files.
Update: A picture from the opening of our ehibition (the column painted white)
